The 4th VPH Summer School will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on June 10-14, 2019. This 4th edition will focus on Machine Learning and Mechanistic Modelling. Leave your e-mail here to receive the updates about the program.
The VPH Summer School series is co-organized by BCN MedTech – Universitat Pompeu Fabra and by the Virtual Physiological Human Institute (VPHi). It aims to provide junior engineers, early researchers and medical doctors with a complete overview of state-of-the-art Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) research, following a complete pipeline from basic science and clinical needs, to model application. The Summer School has the support of the Marie Curie ITN CardioFunXion and PIC.
This summer school includes 15 morning lectures plus one honorary VPH lecture, given by international experts. The key concepts of the methodological and technological frameworks presented will be enriched with afternoon hands-on sessions under the supervision of expert researchers. The focus on this 4th edition will be Machine Learning and Mechanistic Modelling. The Summer School also includes poster sessions with a best poster award sponsored by the VPHi and a best hands-on award sponsored by the QUAES-UPF Chair.
